Wolfgang Fasching, Franz Venier and Gerrit Glomser are among the top athletes in road biking and have acquired an impressive list of titles between them. You can cycle up and down the mountains each summer with these professionals, during the cycling sport weeks.
Franz Venier
A world record holder in various bike disciplines. He has been part of the Oetztal cycling sport weeks from the outset. He knows how to win races (24H Nürburgring, Raid Provence Extreme, Glocknermann) and how to push himself and others to achieve a top performance. Training is bound to be successful with his input.
Wolfgang Fasching
This Styrian extreme biker and mountain climber has participated in the Race Across America for the last 15 years. He has won this tough race three times. It extends over 4,800 km and 30,000 m altitude and requires mental strength as well as physical fitness, as he shares in his various books and seminars. He has also conquered the ‘Seven Summits’ (the highest mountains in all 7 parts of the world) and holds numerous long-distance records.
Gerrit Glomser
Winner of the Glocknerkönig, World and European Championship medals, winner of the Tour of Austria, Austrian cycling athlete of the year… Gerrit Glomser is an all-rounder who has been causing a stir ever since his youth. He was always out in front during the Junior World Championships and continues to do the same today with the Volksbank team. He knows exactly how to get the best out of people during these bike holidays in Austria.
